The HCWO Prayer ministry is looking for people that have a heart to pray and to intercede for others.

There are countless opportunities to pray for others each week.

Prayer Ministers intercede for the weekly prayer requests, weekend services, individual healing sessions, missions, outreach opportunities & special events, home & hospital visits and house blessings. To qualify you need be a member of the church for 6 months and in a mini church for 3 months.

We pursue faith-filled prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare with Holy Spirit enabled power and discernment as in Ephesians 6:10-20 and 1 Timothy 2:1-6.

What is Intercessory Prayer?

As Christians, we are all called to pray for each other. We believe that there are certain ones that God chooses for Intercessory Prayer. We believe that we are some of those. God has laid it on our hearts to pray for His people, and He is the reason we do this.

Intercessory Prayer is a different kind of ministry. There is no glory or earthly reward for us in doing this. We work quietly behind the scenes, and we feel we are blessed to do so. Often we never hear how things have turned out for others, but this does not stop us from carrying on. We believe our reward will come when we meet Jesus face to face. We love the Lord Jesus with all our hearts, soul, mind and strength. We strive to keep our hands clean and our hearts pure so that nothing may hinder our prayers for others.

- Prayer Corner in back of sanctuary after
each service.
- Individual prayer sessions.
- Hospital visitations.
- House blessings.
- Prayer requests.
