The motto of HCWO's Attract Outreach ministry is, "You can't do everything, but you must do something."

Although we do have outreaches that minister to the poor, the hungry, the outcasts of society, etc, our prayer is that each one of us becomes a minister. We desire that each person will get involved with outside non-profit organizations.

Here is a list of ways you can get involved and DO SOMETHING:

Common Grace

A mentoring program with elementary students where you will have an opportunity to love and encourage a student once a week

Hawaii Blood Bank

Simply offering to donate your blood.

Aloha United Way

Provides myriads of opportunities to deliver goods and services to those in needs.

Kids Rock

An outreach to kids in lower income housing communities that meets every 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month.

Hands Up Food Bank

Donate canned goods to our food bank or be a part of the team that will pass it out to families and individuals that are in need.

Bake a Blessing

Bake birthday cakes for children of incarcerated parents.

Hands Ministry

Helping people that are not able to afford the labor. If you are strong, or know some carpentry skills, know how to clean, we do things like painting, moving furniture, hanging ceiling fans, cleaning and changing window blinds, throwing away rubbish, etc.

Heartbeat

A group of people that meet in a community and do prayer walks. Declaring their communities for Christ.

Loving Hands

Taking in children into foster care.

Red Light Angels

Women ONLY outreach. Ministering to those in the adult entertainment industry.

Threads of Hope

Making quilts, clothes, hats, etc. for people locally and globally.

These are just a list of a few items but "the sky is the limit" when it comes to seeing a need and meeting it.

For more info please email us at dosomething@hcwo.com and we will be happy to help you get connected with an outreach program.
